Google’s AI, all set to Defeat World’s Go Champion

Very recently, Google’s Deepmind has created a new milestone in the field of AI. The company announced that it has developed a new set of neural network, having the potential to even defeat the human brain. The company also successfully fulfilled all its claims when this new AI system i.e. Alpha Go has defeated the European champion of Go (Go is the most complicated mathematical game around the globe).

To further prove its efficiency, Google Deepmind’s ‘Alpha Go’ is once again ready to compete with the world’s champion of Go, i.e. Lee Sedol of South Korea. The match will take place from March 9 to March 15, 2016 and will be broadcasted live on YouTube.

It is really surprising to see how artificial intelligence is slowly tweaking the world of technology. The technology that we generally use to do some tasks on our cell phones or smart devices is now reached to a point where it has gained the capability to defeat human’s mind.  It would not be wrong to say that artificial intelligence is becoming smarter than human intelligence.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook and the sixth richest person on earth has taken a new resolution of developing Artificial Intelligence to such an extent where it can be used for doing all household chores and office works, much more that can be expected from a human assistance.

Mark wants to make this new AI assisted system so intelligent that it can recognize voices, manage domestic controls such as lights, temperature and music etc., recognize the guests that come at the doorstep, can takes care of his daughter when Mark will not be around. And also that can manage all the important tasks of his office, so that he can run its organization more efficiently.

The progress that will take place in future will remain an interesting thing to observe, but when Mark will become successful in fulfilling his resolution, there will be a new rise of AI worldwide.

Future Trends of AI

Sometime back we used to say that even if the Artificial Intelligence is progressing, but it is not capable to surpass the capabilities of humans’ brain, but the recent development of Google’s Deepmind ‘Alpha Go’ proved it wrong. The speed with which the technology is rising, seems like soon machines will become more intelligent than humans.

Also, it would not be wrong to say that in the upcoming years, artificially intelligent machines might be helping humans in taking their capabilities to a new level, by assisting them in most of the works in the most efficient manner.

The day Mark Zuckerberg will become successful in efforts towards his new resolution, the technology surely will get a new high. Then, the artificially intelligent machines will not remain limited to only mechanical works, but it will start contributing majorly in domestic tasks as well.

At present AI machines are able to do voice recognition, they can also understand commands and respond accordingly, but a recent innovation revealed that soon it will be possible to download anybody’s personality traits in an artificially intelligent robot, such as behavior and responses based on personalities of real world people. The robot personality may also be modifiable within a base personality construct.
